Job summary

Sia is seeking a talented AI engineer to join the AI & Data Unit in Sydney. You will design, build, and deploy enterprise-grade GenAI systems, collaborating with data scientists, ML engineers, solution architects, and platform engineers to deliver measurable business value.

You hold a Master’s degree and have at least one year of technical experience with Python and Generative AI frameworks, plus cloud-native deployment know-how to accelerate time to market.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in computer science, engineering, or AI.
• At least 1 year of experience building creative AI solutions.
• Proficiency in Python and code versioning.
• Familiarity with Generative AI frameworks and cloud-native deployments.

Responsibilities

• Assist the GenAI Solution Architect in designing scalable AI solutions.
• Develop applications powered by foundation models, self-managed or API-based.
• Design prompting, orchestration strategies, and improve reliability and UX.
• Architect AI solutions integrating enterprises systems, APIs, and data sources.
• Evaluate models based on requirements, performance, latency, and cost.
• Monitor production AI systems and contribute to observability and governance.
• Conduct research on foundation models, multimodal AI, and agentic AI.
