Job summary

Google Cloud is seeking a Generative AI Forward Deployed Engineer to bridge frontier AI products with production-grade realities inside customer environments. You will code, debug, and ship bespoke agentic solutions, addressing data readiness, state management, and integration blockers with high autonomy.

You will collaborate across teams to provide white-glove deployments and feed real-world insights back into product roadmaps, leveraging Gemini models and Vertex AI to solve enterprise

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, CS, or related field or equivalent practical experience.
• 5 years of experience with software development using Python or similar languages.
• Experience taking AI-driven solutions from conception to launch on cloud platforms (e.g., GCP).
• Experience building data pipelines for structured/unstructured data using vector databases and RAG-like architectures.

Responsibilities

• Develop AI applications transitioning prototypes to production-grade agentic workflows (multi-agent systems, MCP servers).
• Architect and code connectivity between Google's AI products and customer live infrastructures (APIs, data silos, security perimeters).
• Build evaluation pipelines and observability for accuracy, safety, latency of agentic systems.
• Identify repeatable field patterns and convert them into reusable modules or product requests for engineering teams.
• Co-build with customer engineers to implement Google-grade development practices for long-term success.
