Job summary

XPT Software in Australia seeks a GenAI Solution Architect to lead the design and build of Fabric Data Agents and AI-enabled solutions. You will shape the data and AI architecture across Lakehouse, Warehouse, Real-Time Intelligence, Power BI and OneLake, while mentoring analysts and engineers.

You will translate complex business problems into practical AI roadmaps, set governance and security standards, and advise leadership on priorities and adoption.

Qualifications

• 20+ years in data/analytics or software, with ≥10 senior consulting or advisory roles.
• Hands-on Microsoft Fabric (Data Factory, Synapse, OneLake, Power BI, Copilot, Data Agents) expertise.
• Strong Azure, Python, SQL, and Spark/PySpark skills.
• Experience with LLMs, Azure OpenAI / AI Foundry, RAG and agent frameworks.
• Proven delivery of enterprise data platforms and AI solutions.
• Excellent communication to executives and engineers alike.
• Microsoft certifications (DP-600, DP-700, AI-102 or similar).
• Experience with data governance (Purview), MLOps, and CI/CD.
• Prior experience as a coach, trainer, or technical lead.

We needa senior consultant with deep technical skills to be our in-house AI andMicrosoft Fabric coach. You will help design and build our Fabric agents and AIitems, and lift the capability of our team as you go.

Key Responsibilities
