Job summary

Compas Pty is seeking a Senior GEN Developer to lead design, development and maintenance of complex software solutions in a major enterprise environment. Gen Developer & Senior Gen Developer

Join a major enterprise technology environment as a Senior GEN Developer, leading the design, development and maintenance of complex software solutions. This senior opportunity is ideal for an experienced GEN specialist who can provide technical leadership, resolve complex development issues and contribute across the full software development lifecycle in a large-scale environment.

Contract Duration:12 months
Extension Options:24 months

Essential Tasks:

• Lead software design and development for highly complex enterprise solutions.
• Provide technical leadership across analysis, development, testing and maintenance.
• Investigate and resolve complex ICT issues while ensuring development standards are met.
• Lead releases, production support and stakeholder engagement across delivery activities.

Key Criteria:

• Minimum 2 to 4 years’ experience in GEN development or an IT degree.
• Experience with Cuba or similar systems and COBOL development/debugging.
• Experience developing SOAP services, RESTful APIs and MQ integrations.
• Experience in Win32 application development; formal GEN training or an IT degree desirable.
