Job summary

Compas Pty Ltd, a Canberra-based recruitment and services company, seeks a Senior Pega Developer for a hybrid role. The position involves delivering enterprise Pega solutions across Pega Platform and Cloud Pega Platform, with initial six months onsite and potential flex arrangements thereafter, subject to approval.

• Remediate defects, implement design recommendations and support high-quality Pega development outcomes.
• Mentor developers, set work priorities and contribute to Pega best practices and governance.

Senior Pega Developer | Pega Platform & Cloud
Deliver enterprise Pega solutions across Pega Platform and Cloud Pega Platform in a senior development role supporting design, delivery, quality and technical leadership. Successful candidates must work full-time onsite for an initial six months, with flexible arrangements potentially considered after this period subject to approval.

Location:QLD, ACT, VIC, NSW
Work Arrangement: Hybrid
Contract Duration:12 months with a 12 monthe extension
Security Clearance Requirement: Baseline

Essential Tasks

• Develop and deliver Pega application components across Pega Platform and Cloud Pega Platform.
• Validate requirements, document design approaches and undertake unit testing and quality reviews.
• Remediate defects, implement design recommendations and support high-quality Pega development outcomes.
• Mentor developers, set work priorities and contribute to Pega best practices and governance.

Key Criteria

• Pega Senior System Architect certification or higher, with 2+ years’ experience as a Senior Pega Developer/System Architect.
• Demonstrated delivery of enterprise Pega capabilities and solutions actively used in production.
• Deep knowledge of Pega capabilities, technology components and integration with other technologies.
• Strong capability in Pega design, performance optimisation, development guardrails and technical coaching.
