Job summary

XPT Software Australia Pty Ltd is seeking a GCP Engineer with SRE experience to join our Sydney team. The role is hands-on, focusing on deploying and operating Google Cloud platforms, implementing IaC, CI/CD pipelines, and containerized workloads.

You will work across security, networking, observability and production troubleshooting to ensure robust cloud platforms. Prior production experience with cloud-based services is highly valued.

Qualifications

• Hands-on Google Cloud engineering experience.
• Experience with IAM, VPC, firewalling and cloud networking.
• Deep knowledge of GCP logging, monitoring and alerting.

Responsibilities

• Support build, productionisation and ongoing operation of multiple GCP platforms.
• Be comfortable with IaC, CI/CD, Kubernetes/containers and production troubleshooting.
• Drive security controls, observability and incident response in production environments.
