Job summary

XPT Software in Sydney is seeking a hands-on Cloud Platform Engineer to support the build, productionisation and ongoing operation of strategic Network Cloud platforms.

This role is not architecture-focused; you will directly work with GCP, Infrastructure as Code, CI/CD, Kubernetes/Containers, security controls, networking and observability to keep platforms running smoothly in production.

Qualifications

• Hands-on Google Cloud engineering experience.
• IAM and workload identity/federation handling.
• VPC, routing, firewalling, private connectivity and cloud networking experience.
• GCP logging, monitoring and alerting proficiency.
• Cloud Run and container-based workloads experience.
• GKE/Kubernetes experience and production troubleshooting in GCP.

Responsibilities

• Support the build, productionisation and ongoing operation of strategic Network Cloud platforms.
• Operate cloud platforms in production, not just design architectures.
• Hands-on with GCP, IaC, CI/CD, Kubernetes, security controls, networking, observability and production troubleshooting.
