Job summary

Westpac Group is seeking a Cloud DevOps Engineer with a primary focus on Google Cloud Platform to join Public Cloud Services. You will deliver infrastructure using the Enterprise Landing Zone patterns and reusable modules to enable cloud initiatives across the group.

Work involves IaC and DevOps automation with Terraform, Bitbucket, GitHub Actions, Jira and Jenkins, plus Kubernetes and cloud-native delivery practices.

Qualifications

• 5+ years’ experience delivering Cloud infrastructure in secure, governed enterprise environments.
• GCP focus with Azure and AWS experience considered a plus.
• Proficient in Infrastructure as Code and DevOps automation (Terraform, CI/CD tools).

Responsibilities

• Deliver cloud infrastructure for project initiatives using Enterprise Landing Zone patterns.
• Enable new cloud services and enhance existing ones.
• Bridge platform capability and project delivery to produce production-ready environments.
