Service Stream is hiring a Crew Leader in VIC (Clayton) to manage a team on the Multinet Gas contract. You will ensure compliance with client and legislative requirements, lead safety practices, and drive continuous improvement while supervising crew and equipment.

The role involves coordinating inductions, training, appraisals, and scheduling, with a focus on quality output and effective problem-solving in field operations.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in team member duties and supervision
• Experience controlling other team members and mechanical equipment
• Desirable Mains and Services Certificate 3
• Preferred Certificate IV Frontline Management
• Ability to plan, organise and control a small workforce and machinery
• Strong communication and public relations skills
• Safety-focused with proactive approach to creating a safe workplace
• Willingness to participate in after-hours rosters and on-call
• Read and interpret drawings accurately

Responsabilités

• Supervising teams and mechanical equipment and maintaining discipline
• Induction training and development of personnel including appraisals
• Training team members in safety, work practices and procedures
• Dealing with field and administrative problems while negotiating solutions
• Planning and organising the work of teams including scheduling
• Utilising mains and services work requirements
• Ensuring compliance with Service Stream administrative and policy aspects
• Assisting in development and training of work improvements
• Contributing to quality and improvement measures within the team
