Job summary

Stylerunner, part of Accent Group Limited, is seeking a Garment Technician to join Stylerunner and help bring premium activewear to life. You’ll collaborate across Design, Product Development and Production to ensure garments meet fit, quality and construction standards from design handover to bulk production.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in Garment Technology or Technical Design, strong knowledge of patternmaking, grading and fit, and experience working with offshore suppliers.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in Garment Technology, Technical Design or Product Development.
• Strong technical knowledge across womenswear, ideally activewear/knits.
• Solid understanding of garment construction, patternmaking, grading and fit.
• Experience working directly with offshore suppliers.
• Confident conducting fit sessions and communicating technical feedback.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple styles and deadlines.
• Strong technical specification and measurement skills.
• Experience using PLM/PDM systems and Microsoft Excel.

Responsibilities

• Manage the technical development of garments from design handover through to bulk production
• Create and maintain tech packs, measurement charts, grading and construction specifications
• Review samples and provide clear, detailed technical feedback to suppliers
• Run fit sessions and manage fit comments and approvals
• Identify and resolve fit, grading, pattern and construction issues
• Review SMS, pre-production and shipment samples to ensure consistency and quality
• Work closely with offshore suppliers to maintain technical and quality standards
• Maintain fit standards, blocks and technical documentation
• Partner with Design and Product Development to find practical solutions throughout the development process
• Look for ways to improve development processes, reduce sample iterations and get product to market efficiently

We're looking for a Garment Technician to join Stylerunner and play a key role in bringing our product to life.

Working across the technical development and fit process, you’ll work closely with Design, Product Development, Production and our offshore suppliers to make sure every garment meets Stylerunner’s standards for fit, quality and construction.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:

• 3+ years’ experience in Garment Technology, Technical Design or Product Development
• Strong technical knowledge across womenswear, ideally with experience across activewear, sportswear, knits or stretch fabrics
• Solid understanding of garment construction, patternmaking, grading and fit
• Experience working directly with offshore suppliers
• Confident conducting fit sessions and communicating technical feedback
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple styles and deadlines
• Strong technical specification and measurement skills
• Experience using PLM/PDM systems and Microsoft Excel
• A qualification in Fashion Technology, Patternmaking, Apparel Production or a related field is desirable
