Job summary

Aruma is seeking a General Hand (Lawn and Garden Maintenance) to join our Newcastle team, supporting maintenance at residential and commercial sites. You’ll perform gardening, lawn care, and grounds tasks with a positive, can‑do attitude, under guidance from the Team Leader.

Hours are Monday to Friday, 7 am to 3 pm, with travel required. Training is provided to help you succeed and grow within a values‑driven organisation supporting people with disabilities.

Qualifications

• Background in property or garden maintenance, including lawn and weed identification.

Responsibilities

• Perform gardening, lawn care, and grounds maintenance.
• Support Team Leader in fostering a positive, values-driven team culture.
• Assist supported employees in building skills and achieving employment goals.
• Complete tasks as directed by Team Leaders.
