Job summary

The Plant Management Company is seeking enthusiastic gardeners to join our Sunshine Coast team on a casual basis. You will maintain and enhance outdoor spaces across Brightwater and Twin Waters Estates, delivering premium landscape and garden maintenance.

This full-time-hours casual role involves 38 hours per week with early starts and finishes; you will work with a supportive team and have access to quality equipment and ongoing upskilling opportunities.

Qualifications

• Safe and confident use of gardening equipment.
• Knowledge of plants, trees, shrubs and horticultural practice.
• Physically able to work outdoors.
• Attention to detail and pride in quality work.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Reliable and punctual.
• Horticulture qualifications or chemical application certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain garden beds, lawns and outdoor areas: weeding, pruning and general upkeep.
• Plant trees and shrubs to landscape designs and client specifications.
• Prepare soil and apply fertilisers, mulch and other soil improvers.
• Operate and maintain equipment, including mowers, hedge trimmers and hand tools.
• Follow health and safety standards on every site.
• Work closely with supervisors and teammates so jobs are finished well and on time.

About the role

The Plant Management Company is looking for enthusiastic, skilled gardeners to join our Sunshine Coast team on a casual basis. You’ll use your horticultural skills to maintain and improve outdoor spaces across the Sunshine Coast, delivering premium landscape and garden maintenance in Brightwater and Twin Waters Estates.
