Job summary

The Australian Agricultural Company (AACo) is seeking a Gardener to join our grounds team at Goonoo. You will plan and carry out grounds maintenance, mowing, pruning, watering, mulching and planting across our property, ensuring safe, clean work areas and compliance with site procedures.

You will have proven gardening experience, a current driver's license, and the ability to follow written and verbal instructions, work independently or in a team, and adapt to a dynamic station environment on

Qualifications

• Proven gardening, grounds maintenance and landscaping experience.
• Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions.
• Self-motivated with ability to work independently and in a team.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-focused attitude.

Responsibilities

• Plan and carry out grounds and property maintenance tasks, including mowing, whipper snipping, watering, gardening, pruning, weeding, mulching and planting.
• Maintain lawns, gardens, fences, hedges, sprinklers and water supply systems.
• Safely prepare and apply garden chemicals per AACo procedures.
• Operate and maintain equipment and report faults or repair needs.
• Feed homestead animals and transport rubbish to the dump as required.
• Maintain clean, tidy and safe work areas, accommodation and equipment.
• Support AACo's commitment to environmental stewardship.
