Job summary

Bass Coast Backyards is seeking a reliable Gardener/ grounds maintenance worker for a full-time role across Phillip Island and the Bass Coast. Year-round work is available in residential and commercial sites, including aged care and high-profile local locations.

The role covers mowing, edging, pruning, weed control and general maintenance using professional equipment. Gardening experience is preferred; driver’s license is required. Opportunities to grow responsibilities as the business expands.

Qualifications

• Previous gardening, landscaping or grounds maintenance experience preferred.
• Current driver’s licence.
• Gardening/landscaping experience advantageous.
• Horticulture qualification, chemical spraying experience or ride-on mower experience advantageous.
• Reliable, punctual and good work ethic.
• Able to work independently or as part of a team.

Gardener / Grounds Maintenance – Full-Time

Bass Coast Backyards | Phillip Island & Bass Coast

Bass Coast Backyards is a growing garden and grounds maintenance company servicing Phillip Island and the Bass Coast.

We are looking for a reliable, hard-working person to join our team full-time, with year-round work available.

The role offers a mix of work across residential gardens, commercial properties, aged care, health facilities, retirement villages and some of the area’s more interesting properties, including The Block TV show site.

The work is varied and includes:

• Lawn and ride-on mowing

• Whipper snipping and edging

• Hedge trimming and pruning

• Weed control

• General garden and grounds maintenance

• Working with professional commercial equipment

• Garden and street tree planting

We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work, works efficiently and reliably, and wants to build their skills in a professional garden maintenance business.

Previous gardening, landscaping or grounds maintenance experience is preferred, but we are also interested in people with the right attitude who are willing to learn.
