Green by Nature is seeking a garden labourer/grounds person for a casual, depot-based role in Canning Vale WA. The position runs Mon-Fri with an early start and early finish and provides full PPE and uniform.

You will contribute to hedging, pruning, planting, mulching and general garden care in all weather conditions. Ideal candidates have a passion for plants, physical stamina, and a willingness to learn in the horticultural industry.

Responsabilités

• Assist with garden maintenance tasks such as hedging, weeding, pruning, planting, and mulching.
• Operate hand tools (hedgers, blowers, whipper snippers) and petrol gear safely under guidance.
• Load/unload materials, plants and equipment from trucks/trailers.
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of work areas, tools and equipment.
• Follow safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment.

About the Role

We are looking for a garden labourer/grounds person to assist with various tasks related to garden maintenance. This hands-on role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and a willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions. Responsibilities

• Assist with garden maintenance tasks such as hedging, weeding, pruning, planting, and mulching.
• Operate hand tools such as hedgers, blowers and whipper snippers and petrol gear such as push mowers and ride on plant equipment safely and effectively under the guidance of experienced team members.
• Load and unload materials, plants, and equipment from trucks and trailers.
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of work areas, tools, and equipment.
• Follow safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and your team members.

About You

You have a strong work ethic and commitment to completing tasks efficiently and to the highest standards. Previous experience in landscaping, gardening, or a related field will be highly regarded.

You have a current driver's licence and have, or are willing to obtain, white card and Working with Children Check.

This role can be physically demanding and you must have the ability to safely lift and carry heavy objects, bend, squat, kneel and stand for extended periods.

Your ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team will help you to be successful in this role.
