Job summary

Plants Whitsunday in Queensland is seeking an energetic retail leader to oversee the garden centre. You will guide the team, drive sales, maintain presentation standards and ensure stock quality, health and visual appeal.

This hands-on role focuses on customer service, team development and delivering expert gardening advice while coordinating merchandising and daily tasks to keep displays fresh and inviting.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a retail nursery, garden centre or similar horticultural environment.
• Strong plant and horticultural knowledge.
• Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate and develop a retail team.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving and organisational abilities.
• A commercial mindset and ability to identify sales opportunities.

This is a varied and active role where you will be responsible for leading the retail team, driving sales, maintaining high presentation standards and ensuring the garden centre is well stocked, healthy and looking its best. This is an active, hands-on leadership position with a strong focus on customer service, team management, sales and the presentation of our garden centre.
