Job summary

The Star Entertainment Group – Gold Coast is seeking a Gaming Technician to keep our gaming floor operating at peak performance. You will install, maintain and service gaming equipment and deliver technical support while ensuring regulatory compliance and safety across all devices.

You will join a diverse team on a 24/7 roster, with opportunities to advance technical skills and contribute to guest experiences on the Gold Coast.

Qualifications

• Trade certificate or Cert 3 in electronics is essential.
• Experience operating and maintaining gaming equipment/systems.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a diverse team.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain and service gaming equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Provide technical support across a range of gaming machines.
• Uphold statutory and regulatory requirements in all tasks.
• Work across a 24/7 roster as required.

What we are looking for

• Trade certificate or Cert 3 in electronic (essential)
• Previous experience operating and maintaining gaming equipment/systems
• Skilled in the use of electronic test equipment (relating to electronic gaming machines)
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills as you work with a diverse team
• Currently hold, or ability to obtain a Queensland Key Employee (KE) Casino Licence (which includes thorough background checks)
• Flexible availability to work across a 24-hour/7-day roster
