Job summary

Huntlee Tavern is seeking an experienced Gaming Manager to lead our gaming room operations, supervise staff, and ensure exceptional customer service.

You will oversee gaming compliance, cash handling, payouts, and reporting, while maintaining responsible gambling practices and working closely with senior management to improve venue performance. The role requires strong leadership, a proven hospitality background, and availability to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays.

Qualifications

• Experience in gaming operations or venue management.
• Strong knowledge of gaming compliance and responsible gambling requirements.
• RSA and RCG/RSG certification, or ability to obtain.
• Strong leadership, communication, and customer service skills.
• Good cash handling, reporting, and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Manage the daily operations of the gaming room.
• Supervise, train, and support gaming and venue staff.
• Ensure excellent customer service is delivered to patrons.
• Monitor gaming machine operations, cash handling, payouts, and reconciliations.
• Maintain compliance with all gaming, liquor, AML/CTF, responsible gambling, WHS, and venue policies.
• Ensure responsible conduct of gambling practices are followed at all times.
• Handle customer enquiries, complaints, and incidents professionally.
• Monitor gaming room presentation, cleanliness, and customer experience.
• Assist with staff rostering, performance, and training requirements.
• Prepare reports relating to gaming operations, revenue, incidents, and compliance.
• Work closely with senior management to improve venue performance.
