Job summary

ALH Hotels is seeking a Gaming Manager for the Castle Hill Tavern in Sydney to lead the gaming room and deliver friendly, efficient service to our community. You’ll know regulars by name, work with the Publican to ensure smooth operations, and uphold all compliance requirements while sharing your gaming expertise with the team.

The role is hands-on, requiring physical tasks. RSA/RCG/ARC certifications and a passion for great guest experiences are essential.

Qualifications

• This is a hands-on role requiring manual handling and lifting as part of regular duties.
• Ideal candidates have experience in gaming room operations as attendants, supervisors, or managers.
• You should understand compliance and safe gaming inside out and hold state RSA/RCG/ARC certifications as required.

We’re on the lookout for a Gaming Manager to help run our gaming room and keep it the friendly, welcoming spot our locals love.

The Castle Hill Tavern is the Hills District’s original local pub. We’re a lively, multifaceted venue featuring a bustling Family Bistro, TAB, beer garden, function spaces, and regular live entertainment. Join our team and help us deliver the friendly, efficient service our community loves.

A day in the life of a Gaming Manager:

• Know the regulars by name and make them feel right at home
• Work closely with the Publican to keep the room running smoothly, safely, and within all the rules
• Share your gaming know‑how and help your team be the best in the biz
• Bring the good vibes, great service, and friendly smiles every shift

Inherent requirements:

This is a hands‑on role that involves manual handling and lifting as part of regular duties (e.g. moving stock, kegs, and deliveries). Applicants must have the ability to perform physical tasks safely and efficiently.

About you:

• You’ve been in the gaming room world for a while, as an attendant, supervisor, or manager
• You’ve learned from great managers and are ready to step up
• You’ve got the confidence, pride, and people skills to be the face of the gaming room
• You understand compliance and safe gaming inside out
• You’ve got a current RSA, RCG and ARCGas per state requirements
