UnitingCare Queensland is seeking a Gambling Help Community Educator in Rockhampton to design and deliver education and awareness programs focused on safer gambling and harm minimisation. You’ll engage diverse communities, run workshops and build partnerships to improve wellbeing outcomes.
The role requires a Certificate Level IV in Community Services or equivalent, experience delivering training, strong communication and case-management focus, and the ability to travel to meet community needs.
Gambling Help Service provides counselling and support to individuals, couples and families experiencing gambling-related harm.
Employment Term: Maximum Term to 31 December 2026 | Full-Time (38 hours per week) | Location: Rockhampton
Remuneration: $46.70 p/hr + Super + NFP Salary Packaging (save tax and increase your take home pay)

As a Gambling Help Community Educator, you'll play a vital role working with clients and the community to provide education and information, focusing on empowerment and resilience outcomes for the client, family and community wellbeing. You'll work across communities to deliver engaging training and awareness programs that promote safer gambling practices and strengthen wellbeing outcomes.
