Qualifications

• Experience in a service-focused environment or the ability to quickly learn.
• Current unrestricted driver's licence.
• Comfortable working in circumstances involving death, grief and deceased persons.
• Strong communication skills with a calm and empathetic approach.
• High attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
• Sensitivity and respect for diverse values, beliefs and cultural practices.
• Physically and psychologically fit to manage manual handling, stress and the inherent requirements of the role.
• Availability to work Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.

Responsibilities

• Meeting with families to arrange and coordinate funeral services in line with their wishes.
• Conducting and overseeing funeral services with professionalism and respect.
• Providing exceptional customer service to families, clients and internal stakeholders.
• Supporting day-to-day operations at the Mayfield location.
• Ensuring compliance with internal policies, procedures and quality standards.

The Role

As a Part-Time Funeral Conductor / Arranger, you will work closely with families and the local team to arrange and conduct dignified funeral services. You will play a key role in ensuring services run smoothly while providing empathetic, professional support to families during their time of need.

Working Wednesday to Friday, your key responsibilities will include:

• Meeting with families to arrange and coordinate funeral services in line with their wishes
