Ideal candidates have around 3–7+ years’ PQE in funds or investment management, with experience advising on investment management arrangements, drafting agreements, regulatory matters, and managing disputes. The role offers ownership and a four-day working week for suitable remuneration.

Qualifications

• Approximately 3–7+ years’ PQE in funds or investment management.
• Experience advising on investment management arrangements and transactions.
• Exposure to superannuation, life insurance or broader financial services would be advantageous.
• Strong commercial judgement and the confidence to work directly with senior stakeholders.
• Ability to work autonomously and take ownership of an investment-focused legal remit.
• Strong drafting, communication and relationship management skills.

Responsabilités

• Advise on funds and investment management matters.
• Draft, negotiate and advise on investment management agreements and related documentation.
• Support investment transactions and regulatory matters.
• Advise on FIRB applications.
• Manage investment-related disputes and smaller litigation with external counsel.
• Provide commercial advice to senior investment stakeholders.
• Support the broader legal team on related financial services matters.
