Job description

Open doors. Build relationships. Turn support into something that matters.

Behind every call is a person.

Someone who needs to be heard. Someone who needs another person on the end of the line.

And behind that support are the people who choose to get behind Lifeline.

The donors. The sponsors. The businesses. The community groups. The people who give their time, their networks and their support.

This role is about finding more of them.

Lifeline Macarthur & Western Sydney supports communities across 16 local government areas, with a catchment of more than 3.5 million Australians.

And there’s a huge opportunity to grow that support even further across Western Sydney.

That’s where you come in.

As Fundraising & Partnerships Lead, you’ll get out into the market, meet people, open doors and build relationships that grow Lifeline’s fundraising revenue.

Maybe that conversation becomes a sponsorship, a local business becomes a long-term supporter, or an introduction opens another door.

That’s where you’ll help create more opportunities.

You’ll build relationships with businesses, community organisations, donors, sponsors and supporters. Grow the Friends of Lifeline network. Identify new fundraising opportunities and turn conversations into action.

There are already programs, events, supporters and relationships to build from. You’ll have the strength of the Lifeline name behind you, support from the CEO and broader team, and plenty of room to bring your own ideas and energy.

See an organisation Lifeline should be talking to? Start the conversation.

Spot an opportunity through an event, introduction or existing supporter? Follow it.

You'll also take ownership of the coordination and logistics behind Lifeline's existing fundraising events, keeping things organised, managing supporter records and ensuring the operational side runs smoothly. It's a role that combines getting out and creating new opportunities with rolling up your sleeves to deliver on them.

You

You know how to build rapport, spot an opportunity and follow it through. You’re comfortable getting out there, meeting new people and turning relationships into outcomes.

Your comfortable working towards targets, but you also bring creativity, initiative and plenty of enthusiasm.

And maybe Lifeline is a cause that hits close to home. Maybe you’re simply at a point where you want the work you do every day to mean something more.

Because you’ll be asking other people to believe in Lifeline’s impact.

You need to believe in it too.

With Lifeline's head office based in Smeaton Grange, and additional locations including Parramatta, Penrith and Castle Hill, there's flexibility around where you work. You'll balance time alongside the team with getting out across Western Sydney, building relationships, meeting supporters and creating opportunities.

But you won’t build this sitting behind a desk.

You’ll be out across Western Sydney. Meeting people. Building a network. Creating opportunities.

The Lifeline name opens the conversation. You’ll have the support and autonomy to turn it into something more.
