Job summary

IT Alliance seeks a Functional Automation Tester in Canberra for a Federal Government client. The role focuses on automation testing of Dynamics 365 and Power Platform apps, UI and functional testing across enterprise systems, and integrating test suites into CI/CD processes with Azure DevOps.

The candidate will use VS Code, Azure DevOps, and standard test management practices to ensure quality across builds and releases, supporting accessibility and compliance requirements.

Qualifications

• Experience testing Microsoft Dynamics 365 and/or Power Platform applications.
• Experience testing across web-based and enterprise applications with UI, functional, integration, system, regression, and user acceptance testing.
• Experience integrating automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps.
• Proficiency with VS Code, Azure DevOps, source control, defect management, and test management and reporting practices.

Job description

One of our Federal Government clients is looking for Functional Automation Tester in Canberra.

We are looking for the following Skills/Experience:

• Demonstrated experience testing Microsoft Dynamics 365 and/or Power Platform applications (Power Pages, Power Apps, Dataverse).
• Demonstrated experience performing UI, functional, integration, system, regression, and user acceptance testing across web-based and enterprise applications, with a strong understanding of testing methodologies and best practices.
• Demonstrated experience integrating automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps), so tests execute automatically as part of build and release processes rather than solely on manual trigger.
• Demonstrated proficiency with Visual Studio Code (VS Code), Azure DevOps, source control, defect management, and test management and reporting practices.
