Job summary

IT Alliance Australia is seeking a Functional Automation Tester for a Federal Government client in Canberra. The role focuses on testing Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Power Platform applications, including UI and end-to-end scenarios.

You will integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps), work with VS Code, and apply defect and test management practices across web-based and enterprise systems.

Qualifications

• Experience testing Dynamics 365 and Power Platform apps.
• Experience testing UI, functional, integration, system, regression, and UAT across web/enterprise apps.
• Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps).
• Proficiency with VS Code, Azure DevOps, source control, defect management and test reporting.

Job description

One of our Federal Government clients is looking for Functional Automation Tester in Canberra.

We are looking for the following Skills/Experience:

• Demonstrated experience testing Microsoft Dynamics 365 and/or Power Platform applications (Power Pages, Power Apps, Dataverse).
• Demonstrated experience performing UI, functional, integration, system, regression, and user acceptance testing across web-based and enterprise applications, with a strong understanding of testing methodologies and best practices.
• Demonstrated experience integrating automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps), so tests execute automatically as part of build and release processes rather than solely on manual trigger.
• Demonstrated proficiency with Visual Studio Code (VS Code), Azure DevOps, source control, defect management, and test management and reporting practices.
