We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Function Coordinator to join our team at Brothers Leagues Club Townsville. This is a hands‑on role, responsible for managing and delivering high-quality events across our five function areas. From weddings and corporate conferences to private celebrations and meetings, you will play a key role in ensuring seamless event execution and exceptional customer experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage all function bookings, including client inquiries, quotations, and confirmations.
Liaise closely with the Executive Chef and kitchen team to coordinate menus and catering requirements.
Oversee the setup, execution, and pack‑down of events, ensuring high service standards.
Coordinate with internal departments, including bar, kitchen, and front‑of‑house teams, to deliver seamless events.
Provide exceptional customer service, assisting clients throughout the event planning process.
Ensure compliance with all licensing and RSA regulations.
Work within budgets and manage event logistics efficiently.
Maintain accurate records and reports on function performance.
About You:
To succeed in this role, you will have:
Proven experience in function coordination, hospitality, or event management.
Strong organisational and multitasking skills with the ability to work under pressure.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with clients and stakeholders.
A hands‑on approach with a strong work ethic and attention to detail.
RSA certification (Responsible Service of Alcohol) – mandatory.
Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, based on event schedules.
