Huntsman Electrical and Air is seeking a Fully Qualified Electrician to join our growing team in Raymond Terrace, NSW. This is a full-time position offering the opportunity to work on a diverse range of electrical projects across residential, commercial, and industrial settings. As a fully qualified electrician, you will be at the forefront of delivering high-quality electrical services to our clients, ensuring safety, reliability and professional excellence on every job. This role is crucial to maintaining our reputation as a trusted electrical service provider in the region.

Key responsibilities

• Installing, maintaining and repairing electrical systems, wiring and equipment in residential, commercial, and industrial properties
• Diagnosing electrical faults and problems, and implementing effective solutions
• Reading and interpreting electrical blueprints, plans and technical drawings
• Testing electrical equipment and systems to ensure they comply with safety standards and regulations
• Performing preventative maintenance on electrical systems and equipment
• Ensuring all work complies with the National Electrical Code and relevant Australian Standards
• Liaising with clients to understand their electrical requirements and provide professional advice
• Maintaining a safe and tidy work environment on all job sites
• Keeping accurate records of work completed and materials used

What we’re looking for

• Current, valid electrical trade qualification (Certificate III in Electrotechnology or equivalent)
• Active electrical licence relevant to your work classification in New South Wales
• Proven experience working as a qualified electrician in the trades industry
• Strong knowledge of electrical safety practices and Australian electrical standards
• Competency in using hand tools, power tools and electrical testing equipment
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and electrical schematics
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Strong communication abilities and professional customer service skills
• Physical fitness and ability to work in varied conditions and locations
• Experience with industrial or commercial electrical work (preferred)
