Job summary

ahm, part of the Medibank Group, is seeking an experienced Fullstack Engineer to join on a 12-month fixed-term contract and start immediately or on short notice. You will contribute to the digital platform across front-end and back-end, working in an agile, customer-focused environment to deliver mobile-first experiences.

You'll shape technical direction, collaborate with design and product teams, and promote continuous improvement, knowledge sharing and SecDevOps practices.

Qualifications

• Experience with React or similar front-end frameworks.
• Experience with Node.js, Express or equivalent back-end technologies.
• Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS and maintainable styling.
• Experience with Git/GitHub, npm and modern build tools such as Next.js or Vite.
• Experience with automated testing frameworks such as Jest and Cypress.
• Understanding of CI/CD practices, semantic versioning and modern software delivery principles.
• A collaborative mindset, strong communication skills and passion for continuous learning.
• Experience working in autonomous, cross-functional teams.

The Opportunity

We're looking for an experiencedFullstack Engineer who is available to start immediately and join us on a 12-month fixed-term contract.

Due to the immediate need within the team, we're particularly keen to hear from candidates who cancommence straight away or at very short notice.

You’ll help shape and deliver the technical direction of our digital platform as part of a collaborative Full Stack TypeScript team. Working across both front-end and back-end development, you’ll build high-quality, scalable and maintainable software that delivers exceptional customer experiences.
