Job summary

Peninsula Veterinary Surgery in Perth, WA is seeking a dedicated Full-Time Veterinary Nurse to join our busy clinic. You will support veterinarians across a wide range of clinical and surgical cases, performing nursing and reception duties to ensure smooth daily operations.

We value compassionate, motivated team players who are confident with anaesthetic monitoring, surgical assistance and excellent client care.

Qualifications

• Qualified Veterinary Nurse with Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in small animal clinical practice preferred.
• Confident in anaesthetic monitoring and surgical assistance.
• Calm under pressure and able to multitask in a busy environment.
• Strong communicator with excellent client care skills.

Responsibilities

• Surgical nursing assistance, including anaesthetic monitoring and patient recovery
• Patient handling, restraint, and pre- and post-operative care
• Medication administration and inpatient care
• Assisting with diagnostic imaging and laboratory work
• Maintaining accurate clinical records
• Client communication and education
• General reception and front-of-house support when required
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised clinical environment
