Job summary

GEC Landscapes is seeking a skilled Structural Landscaper or experienced Labourer to join our growing team on residential sites around the North side of Brisbane. You will deliver durable outdoor spaces, reading plans and following specifications to ensure high-quality workmanship.

The role is full-time with opportunities for training and career progression, using quality tools and vehicles, and potential overtime.

Qualifications

Experience in structural landscaping or landscape construction.
Ability to read plans and follow specifications.
Physically fit and able to work outdoors.
Current driver’s licence and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

Construct retaining walls, paving, steps, paths, decks, fences, and outdoor structures.
Complete excavation, levelling, concreting, drainage, and site preparation.
Read and work from landscape plans and construction drawings.
Measure and set out work accurately.
Operate hand tools, power tools, and landscaping equipment safely.
Coordinate with the site supervisor, clients, and other trades.
Maintain high standards of workmanship, cleanliness, and site safety.
Identify and report construction issues or material requirements.
Assist with general landscaping and project completion activities.
