Select People / Apprentice Recruit in Richlands, QLD is hiring for a landscape construction role. You'll work hands-on across structural and softscape projects alongside skilled tradespeople to deliver premium outdoor spaces across South East Queensland.

We offer a full-time, permanent position with super, holiday pay, and long-term career potential. The role provides structured progression into senior roles or certifications within a supportive, team‑oriented environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in landscape construction or a related trade (carpentry, concreting, etc.).
• Confidence with hand and power tools.
• White Card (essential).
• Cert III in Landscape Construction highly regarded but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Build retaining walls, decks, garden edges, and fencing (timber, steel, block & concrete).
• Assist with drainage, paving, concreting, and structural installations.
• Support planting, turfing, mulching, and softscape finishes.
• Site prep, material coordination, and general trade support.
• Follow safety procedures and maintain high-quality standards.

Skills

Experience in landscape construction

Tools handling (hand & power tools)
