Job summary

Eureka Landscapes in North Brisbane, QLD is seeking a full-time Landscape Construction Team Member to help deliver high-quality landscape projects.

In this hands-on role you will work under a Foreman to complete tasks, read site plans, and contribute to hardscape and softscape installation, while maintaining safety and accuracy on site.

The position offers ongoing training, overtime opportunities, and a supportive team culture with room for career progression.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret basic site plans.
• Demonstrated commitment to safe work practices and WHS requirements.
• Physically able to perform outdoor labour in varying weather.
• Teamwork and reliable communication with foreman and crew.

Responsibilities

• Follow Foreman/Leading Hand instructions to complete tasks.
• Read and work from site plans and drawings.
• Assist with site preparation, set-out, and installation of hardscape and softscape elements.
• Construct retaining walls, pathways and garden features as directed.
• Operate tools and machinery safely and efficiently.
• Carry out planting, mulching and horticultural tasks as directed.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organised worksite in line with WHS requirements.

Job description

Join the dedicated team at Eureka Landscapes as a full-time Landscape Construction Team Member based in North Brisbane, QLD. In this hands-on role, you will work under the direction of an experienced Foreman / Leading Hand to help deliver high-quality landscape construction projects.

What you'll be doing

Following instructions from the Foreman / Leading Hand to complete assigned landscape construction tasks

Reading and working from site plans and drawings

Assisting with site preparation, set-out, and installation of hardscape and softscape elements

Constructing retaining walls, pathways, garden beds, turf areas, and other landscaping features

Operating tools, machinery, and equipment safely and efficiently

Carrying out planting, mulching, and other horticultural tasks as directed

Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised worksite in line with WHS requirements

Supporting other team members to meet project deadlines and quality standards

What we're looking for

1-2 years' experience in landscape construction or similar outdoor labouring work

Ability to read and interpret basic site plans (training can be provided)

Good understanding of safe work practices and use of tools/equipment

Physically fit with the ability to work in various weather conditions

Strong teamwork skills and the ability to follow instructions accurately

Construction White Card (required)
