Job summary

Golden Age Physiotherapy in the Oatley/Sylvania area is seeking a Full-Time Physiotherapist to join our residential aged care team. You will conduct assessments, develop personalised mobility programs, and lead individual and group exercise sessions to improve balance and independence.

You will work autonomously within a multidisciplinary team, maintaining high-quality documentation and contributing to resident wellbeing, falls prevention, and compassionate care in RACFs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physiotherapy.
• Full AHPRA registration as a Physiotherapist.
• Excellent communication and resident-focused approach.
• Ability to work autonomously within a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive physiotherapy assessments for residents in RACFs.
• Develop and implement personalised treatment plans focused on mobility, pain management, and fall prevention.
• Deliver individual and group exercise programs to improve strength, balance, and function.
• Collaborate with care staff, GPs, and allied health professionals to ensure holistic resident care.
• Educate residents, families, and staff on safe mobility and rehabilitation strategies.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation in line with aged care standards and compliance requirements.
