Readyfit Pty Ltd is seeking a dedicated physiotherapist to join the Westmead clinic in a permanent full-time/part-time role. You will deliver high-quality care to a diverse patient population, including private, Medicare, and insurance-based caseloads.

The role covers assessment, treatment planning, manual therapy, exercise prescription, education and collaboration with GPs and allied health professionals. AHPA registration preferred; current AHPRA registration required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Physiotherapy or equivalent recognised qualification.
• Current registration with the Physiotherapy Board of Australia.
• Full working rights in Australia.
• Australian Physiotherapy Association membership preferred.
• Experience in private practice or hospital setting.

Responsibilities

• Assess and evaluate patients with musculoskeletal and other physiotherapy conditions.
• Develop and implement individualised treatment plans for rehabilitation goals.

Job description

Readyfit Pty Ltd is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Full-time/Part-time Physiotherapist to join our team at our Westmead clinic. This is a permanent full-time position/part-time available where you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality physiotherapy services to a diverse patient population.

Our clinic primarily manages an insurance-based caseload, including workers compensation and CTP patients, while also treating private, Medicare and other referred patients. You will support patients throughout their rehabilitation and recovery, helping them regain mobility, reduce pain and improve their overall quality of life.

This position offers the opportunity to work within a supportive healthcare environment where your clinical expertise and patient-focused approach will directly contribute to meaningful patient outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Assess and evaluate patients presenting with musculoskeletal, neurological and other physiotherapy conditions, utilising appropriate clinical assessment techniques
• Develop and implement individualised treatment plans tailored to each patient's specific rehabilitation goals and clinical presentation
• Deliver evidence-based physiotherapy interventions, including manual therapy, exercise prescription, electrotherapy and functional rehabilitation
• Monitor patient progress, adjust treatment plans as necessary and document all clinical outcomes in accordance with professional standards
• Provide patient education and self-management advice to promote independence and prevent re-injury
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including GPs, specialists and allied health practitioners, to ensure coordinated and comprehensive patient care
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation and comply with all relevant regulatory and compliance requirements
• Contribute to the smooth running of the clinic through efficient scheduling, resource management and adherence to professional standards
• Engage in professional development and stay current with emerging evidence and best practices in physiotherapy

What we’re looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Physiotherapy or equivalent recognised qualification
• Full working rights in Australia.
• Current registration with the Physiotherapy Board of Australia and membership with the Australian Physiotherapy Association (AHPA registration preferred)
• Current SIRA registration.
• Proven experience working as a physiotherapist in a clinical setting, ideally within a private practice or hospital environment
• Strong assessment and clinical reasoning skills with the ability to diagnose and treat a range of physiotherapy conditions
• Proficiency in evidence-based treatment techniques and the ability to adapt interventions based on patient progress
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex clinical concepts to patients in an accessible manner
• Strong organisational and time management abilities, with the capacity to manage multiple patients efficiently
• A genuine commitment to patient-centred care and a compassionate approach to rehabilitation
• Knowledge of relevant healthcare legislation and professional standards
• Desirable: experience with specific populations such as aged care, sports injuries, workplace rehabilitation or neurological conditions
