Health First Group is seeking an experienced Physiotherapist to assess, treat, and help prevent physical conditions, supporting clients to improve function, mobility, and quality of life. Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Physiotherapy.
  • Current AHPRA registration.
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a registered Physiotherapist, including at least 1 year in private practice.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments to identify patient needs.
  • Provide evidence-based physiotherapy treatment tailored to goals.
  • Develop and monitor individualized rehabilitation programs.
  • Support patients in achieving functional, mobility, and return-to-work goals.
  • Maintain accurate clinical documentation and care plans per requirements.
  • Communicate with GPs, specialists, insurers, and other healthcare professionals.

We also provide specialisedoccupational rehabilitation services, supporting individuals and workplaces through workplace assessments, suitable duties planning, return-to-work programs, and pre-employment assessments.

Reporting directly to the Director, you will play an important role in delivering exceptional client care and supporting patients throughout their journey towards improved health, mobility, and overall wellbeing. We are seeking an experiencedPhysiotherapistto join our growing team. In this role, you will assess, treat, and help prevent physical conditions associated with injury, illness, disability, and ageing, supporting clients to achieve improved function, independence, and quality of life.

What You Bring
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Physiotherapy
  • Current AHPRA registration
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a registered Physiotherapist, including at least 1 year in private practice
  • Understanding of the rights, needs, and support requirements of people living with disabilities
  • Valid driver’s licence
  • Current Working with Children Check, or willingness to obtain one prior to commencement

Key Responsibilities

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Conduct comprehensiveclinical assessmentsto identify patient needs, establish diagnoses, and develop appropriate treatment plans.
  • Provideevidence-based physiotherapy treatmenttailored to each patient’s individual goals and functional needs.
  • Develop and monitorindividualised rehabilitation programs, reviewing progress and modifying treatment plans as required.
  • Support patients in achieving their functional, mobility, and return-to-work goals through education, exercise prescription, manual therapy, and other appropriate treatment techniques.
  • Maintain accurate and timelyclinical documentation, treatment notes, reports, and care plansin accordance with professional and organisational requirements.
  • Communicate effectively withGPs, specialists, employers, insurers, support coordinators, and other healthcare professionalswhere appropriate.
  • Manage patients acrossprivate, DVA, WorkCover, and EPC funding pathways, ensuring appropriate documentation and compliance with relevant requirements.
  • Build strong and lasting relationships with patients by providing a professional, compassionate, and patient-centred experience.
  • Work collaboratively with other physiotherapists and allied health professionals within asupportive multidisciplinary environment.
  • Maintain a high standard of professional practice in line withAHPRA requirements and relevant clinical guidelines.
Skill & Experience
  • Minimum of1 year of professional physiotherapy experience, preferably within a private practice or clinical setting.
  • Current AHPRA registrationand eligibility to practise as a physiotherapist in Australia.
  • Strong clinical assessment, treatment planning, and patient management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with patients and work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
  • Commitment to deliveringhigh-quality, patient-centred careand achieving positive clinical outcomes.
  • Strong organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage a varied caseload independently.
  • A proactive, professional, and compassionate approach to patient care.
