Job summary

Subway Australia is recruiting Sandwich Artist positions across stores in Queensland. We are seeking energetic individuals for full time, part time and casual roles, with training provided and a focus on customer service and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Experience in food prep, customer service or retail is desirable but training is provided.
• Able to work in fast-paced environment across shifts.
• Willingness to learn and adapt in Subway brand context.

Responsibilities

• Food preparation including bread and cookies.
• Maintain food storage and prep areas per Health & Safety standards.
• Comply with Food Code of Practice.
• Operate the till.
• Monitor stock levels and check deliveries.
• Complete daily/weekly cleaning schedules.
• Follow security and safety procedures.
• Maintain a safe work environment for customers and staff.
• Maintain high personal presentation in Subway uniform.
• Work as part of a team to deliver high service standards.

Job description

We have several Sandwich Artist positions available at the following Subway stores:

• Cannonvale
• Bowen
• We are looking for 25 plus new Full time/Part time/Casual team members.
• Senior Managment Roles are available as well.
• High school students (Year 9, 10, 11 and 12) are welcome to apply.

Shifts Schedule

• Morning staff
• Day/Lunch staff
• Evening shift

Lots of room for growth and training provided.

Previous experience in food preparation, retail sales and/or customer service is desirable but not essential because you will receive full training and undertake various University of Subway® courses. What’s more important is a winning attitude. If you’re currently working in retail or in a restaurant, perhaps you are studying or have recently graduated and are looking to start a career in the food industry. This could be the perfect opportunity for you!

• Food preparation including bread and cookie baking
