Job summary

Subway is hiring Sandwich Artists for multiple stores in North Rockhampton, QLD. Training is provided and there are clear career pathways within Australia's largest Subway group.

We welcome high school students and individuals with customer service or retail experience. You will learn food preparation, stock monitoring, till operation and hygiene standards while delivering friendly service.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in food handling or customer service is helpful but training is provided.
• Willingness to learn and a positive attitude are essential.
• High school students are welcome to apply.

Responsibilities

• Ensure food storage and preparation areas comply with Health & Safety standards.
• Comply with Food Code of Practice.
• Operate till and handle cash.
• Monitor stock levels.
• Complete daily and weekly cleaning schedules.
• Follow security and safety procedures.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and presentable workspace.
• Deliver high-standard service to customers.

• Morning staff

• Night Shift

High school students (Year 8, 9, 10, 11 and 12) are very welcome to apply.

There are lots of opportunity to grow with Australia's largest subway group. There will be training and career pathways. School going students are welcome to apply.

Previous experience in food preparation, retail sales and/or customer service is desirable but not essential because you will receive full training and undertake various University of Subway courses. What's more important is a winning attitude. If you're currently working in retail or in a restaurant, perhaps you are studying or have recently graduated and are looking to start a career in the food industry. This could be the perfect opportunity for you!
