George & Matilda Eyecare in Canberra is seeking a Full-Time Optical Dispenser to support two established practices, Andrew Watkins Optometrist and Evans & McMahon Optometrists. You will help patients choose frames and lenses, build product knowledge, and deliver outstanding care across both sites.

Qualifications

• Previous retail or optical dispensing experience is highly regarded.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills are essential.
• Willingness to travel between two Canberra practices and provide great patient care.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients in selecting frames and lenses that suit lifestyle and vision needs.
• Develop product knowledge and confidently recommend optical solutions.
• Deliver exceptional customer service and patient experiences.
• Support dispensing, adjustments, repairs and general optical services.
• Assist with practice administration and day-to-day operations.
• Work collaboratively with Optometrists and team members to ensure seamless patient care.
