Job summary

Little Miracles is seeking a Facilities Caretaker to perform on-site maintenance across its six childcare centres. The role is full time (38 hours per week) with some Saturday work outside centre hours, reporting to the Head of Maintenance to keep environments safe, compliant and well-presented for children and families.

The role requires self-motivation, time management and the ability to work across multiple locations with a proactive approach to maintenance tasks and records.

Qualifications

• Previous maintenance or facilities experience.
• Ability to work across multiple sites.
• Experience with general repairs and maintenance tasks.
• Desirable landscaping, grounds maintenance, or gardening experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform on-site maintenance and landscaping tasks across centres.
• Respond to reactive maintenance requests within agreed timeframes.
• Complete preventative maintenance across sites to ensure safety and presentation.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance work and tasks.
• Ensure safe work practices and WHS compliance.
