Job summary

Bentleigh Service Centre is seeking an experienced full-time Motor Mechanic (General) to join our busy workshop in Bentleigh East, VIC. The role offers a permanent, full-time position with the chance to service a wide range of light vehicles using diagnostic equipment and modern tools.

The successful candidate will have a Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology (or Certificate IV in Automotive Mechanical Diagnosis), at least two years of on-the-job experience, a current Australian

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology or Certificate IV in Automotive Mechanical Diagnosis with hands-on workshop experience.
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills are essential.
• Current Australian driver’s licence and eligible to work in Australia.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults using diagnostic equipment.
• Dismantle engines and components; inspect and replace worn parts.
• Reassemble, test and adjust components to restore performance.
