Job summary

AUSCARZ AUTO HUB in Braybrook, VIC is seeking a skilled Motor Mechanic to join our team on a full-time basis. You will conduct inspections, diagnose issues, and service a wide range of vehicles to exacting standards, ensuring customer satisfaction and safety.

The role requires a trade qualification in Automotive Mechanics (Cert IV or higher) and at least 1 year of experience in a workshop. The successful candidate will have strong diagnostic skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work

Qualifications

Trade qualification in Automotive Mechanics (Cert IV or Higher) is required.
Minimum 1+ years of experience as a Motor Mechanic.
Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
Excellent attention to detail and commitment to high-quality workmanship.
Good communication and customer service skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Knowledge of current automotive industry regulations and best practices.

Responsibilities

Conduct vehicle inspections and diagnostic assessments.
Dismantling and removing engine assemblies, transmissions, steering mechanisms and other components, and checking parts.
Reassembling engines and components after repairs.
Carrying out scheduled servicing and maintenance tasks.
Troubleshooting and repairing mechanical, electrical, and electronic issues.
Replacing worn or faulty parts and components.
Maintaining detailed records of work undertaken and ensuring safety standards.
