Job summary

13 Auto Services Pty Ltd in Moolap, VIC, seeks an experienced Motor Mechanic to join our workshop. You will diagnose, repair and service a range of vehicles, ensuring work meets safety standards and manufacturer specifications.

This full-time role requires hands-on diagnostic work with OBD-II tools, servicing engines, transmissions and braking systems, plus diagnosing electrical faults and test verification.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology or equivalent.
• Certificate IV in Automotive Diagnostic or Diploma highly regarded.
• Min 3 years in a commercial workshop with Asian/European cars, AWD/4WD and hybrids.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults using diagnostic tools.
• Inspect vehicle systems across engines, transmissions, suspension, steering and braking.
• Perform servicing including oil changes and brake servicing.
• Dismantle and repair engine components and transmissions.
• Replace defective parts per manufacturer specs.
• Maintain records of servicing and parts usage.
