Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Install softscapes including trees, shrubs, turf, soil and mulch.
• Install hardscapes: concreting, paving, desking, fencing, outdoor structures.
• Maintain diverse landscapes and cultivate vegetation.
• Propagate and plant vegetation for aesthetic environments.
• Execute landscape plans while meeting quality standards.
• Supervise a crew and ensure safety on site.

Position Title: Full-time Landscaper

Key Responsibilities

Tasks include:

• Installation of softscapes including planting trees, shrubs, turf, soil and mulch
• Installation of hardscapes including concreting, paving, desking, fencing, park furniture, playgrounds and other outdoor structures
• Cultivate and maintain diverse landscapes to enhance outdoor spaces.
• Propagate and plant various vegetation to create visually appealing environments.
• Execute landscape plans efficiently while adhering to quality standards.
• Supervise a crew.
• Working to a very high standard as expected by our clients; and expect of us.
• Working safely on site and understand WHS management systems.
• Quality control and Maintenance of equipment.

Skill & Experience

Skill level required:

• Minimum of 2 year’s experience as a landscape gardener is mandatory.
• High attention to detail, time management and communication skills.
• Experience working with hand tools, including rake, shovel, mulch fork, square-mouth shovel, post-hole shovel, broom, sledgehammer, crowbar, and concrete finishing tools. Experience working with power tools such as drills, circular saws, hammer drills, grinders, and leaf blowers.
• Able to perform under pressure.
• Able to work both independently and in a team.
