Independent Mineral Standards Pty Ltd. is seeking a qualified General Fitter to join the Bayswater production team. You will diagnose faults, install and commission machinery, fit components, and maintain equipment to ensure safe, reliable operation.

Reading drawings, following procedures, and maintaining accurate records are essential. A Certificate III in Engineering – Mechanical Trade or equivalent is required; forklift experience is desirable. This is a full-time on-site role at Bayswater.

Formación

• Diagnose mechanical faults and identify root causes.
• Install, erect and commission machinery on site.
• Fit and assemble metal parts and subassemblies with precision.
• Read drawings and specifications to plan work.
• Perform scheduled maintenance and repairs on hydraulic/pneumatic systems.
• Maintain maintenance records and schedules.
• Forklift operation is desirable, safety is paramount.

Responsabilidades

• Fault diagnosis of production machinery and root cause analysis.
• Install, set up, and commission machinery on site.
• Fit mechanical parts and assemble subassemblies with precision.
• Read technical drawings to plan method and sequence.
• Perform preventative and breakdown maintenance; overhaul components.
• Update maintenance schedules and maintain records accurately.
• Identify opportunities to improve equipment reliability and efficiency.
