Job summary

Aloe There Gardening is seeking an experienced gardener to perform general garden maintenance across Melbourne's inner-east, south-east and bayside suburbs. You will join a growing family business known for reliability and quality workmanship, assisting with tidy-up projects and daily garden care.

Applicants should have 1+ years in gardening or related outdoor roles, strong knowledge of horticultural practices, and experience using mowers, trimmers, and blowers.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in gardening, grounds maintenance or a similar outdoor role (minimum 1+ years, or entry-level applicants will be considered)
• Working knowledge of correct horticultural practices, including pruning, planting, weeding, pest and disease control and lawn care
• Competent in operating gardening equipment such as mowers, whipper snippers, hedge trimmers and blowers, and in safe chemical handling
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality work
• Reliable and punctual, with a strong work ethic
• Good time management and organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks
• Able to work as part of a team, and to work efficiently unsupervised and under pressure
• Valid and current driver's licence
• Right to work in Australia

• Carry out general garden maintenance on customer properties in the Eastern Suburbs to a very high standard
• Assist the Aloe There Gardening team with garden tidy-up projects
