The role includes building referrals, collaborating across services, and promoting Uniting's financial counselling offerings in the community. This position is based in Epping, full-time, maximum term until 30 September 2027, with benefits including

Qualifications

• Diploma of Financial Counselling required.
• Understanding of issues related to vulnerable consumers (financial hardship, family violence, mental health, cultural diversity).
• Ability to deliver financial literacy information to households and groups.
• Advocate payment arrangements and access to consumer schemes.

Responsibilities

• Provide financial counselling, information, advice and advocacy to individuals and families.
• Develop referral pathways and collaborate with other services.
• Promote Uniting's financial counselling services to the community.
