Job summary

Sheldon College in Redland City, Queensland, is seeking early learning educators to support individualized care programs for children in a group setting. You will supervise, interact, set up activities, and foster a welcoming atmosphere at our ELC facilities.

You will play a key role in child safety, align practices with legislation and the College’s wellbeing framework, and have a full-time start.

Qualifications

• Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (or equivalent).
• Current First Aid certification.
• ACECQA-approved Anaphylaxis and Emergency Asthma Management Training.
• Ability to create a safe, secure learning environment respecting individual differences.

Responsibilities

• Assist in implementing care programs for individual children within a group setting.
• Supervise and interact with children, set up activities and maintain a welcoming atmosphere at ELC facilities.
• Prioritise child safety and wellbeing, ensuring compliance with legal requirements and the College's framework.
• Support a collaborative team environment and contribute to ongoing professional development.
