Job summary

Adon Care Services in Sydney NSW is seeking Disability Support Workers to help deliver person-centered care across daily living activities, community participation, and health support for participants. This is a full-time role (38-40 hrs/week) based in Sydney with a salary range of AUD 79,500 to 85,000 (excluding superannuation).

This role requires empathy, excellent communication, teamwork, and a commitment to dignity and safety while supporting people with disabilities under the NDIS

Qualifications

• Certificate III or IV in a relevant field is required.
• NDIS knowledge, participant rights, and choice and control.
• Current First Aid and CPR certification.
• NDIS Worker Screening Check and Working With Children Check current.
• Police check and valid driver license required.
• COVID-19 vaccinations as per public health orders.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily personal care activities such as showering, dressing, grooming, toileting.
• Support mobility and transferring; assist with eating and drinking.
• Accompany participants to appointments, shopping, and social events.
• Assist with household tasks, meal preparation, and groceries.
• Provide transport assistance and participate in daily living activities.
• Follow safety policies and safeguarding procedures; maintain documentation.

Education

Certificate III or IV in Individual Support, Disability, or Community Services

First Aid and CPR certification

NDIS Worker Screening Check

Working With Children Check

Police check

Valid driver's licence
