Job summary

Vans Café in Cottesloe is seeking an experienced Cook to join our busy kitchen team. The successful applicant will prepare and cook a range of meals to a high standard in a lively café environment, with emphasis on quality and speed during service.

Responsibilities include menu preparation, food handling, safety, hygiene and supporting other kitchen staff as needed. Previous café or restaurant experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery or 3 years full-time experience in a busy café kitchen.
• Current Food Handlers Certificate.
• Sound knowledge of food safety and hygiene.
• Ability to work under pressure and in a team.
