Qualifications

• Requires AQF qualification in Hospitality or related field.
• Prior experience as a Cook is essential.

Responsibilities

• Inspect ingredients and supplies to ensure freshness and quality.
• Prepare, season and cook dishes according to recipes and menu requirements.
• Operate and regulate commercial kitchen equipment (ovens, grills, fryers).
• Monitor cooking times, temperatures, flavour and presentation for quality.
• Portion, plate and garnish meals per standards.
• Store food safely and maintain refrigeration and storage temperatures.
• Monitor stock levels and estimate ingredient needs to minimise waste.
• Coordinate with kitchen staff for timely meal preparation and service.
